Library Card Requirements
Adults in the local and surrounding areas are eligible to get a library card. Children age 5 - 15 must have a parent present. Young adults 16 and over may get a library card independently. To get your library card, visit any branch with one form of ID and one proof of residency:

Internet-Use Only Library Card
If you plan to only access the Internet and not check out materials, the Lamar County Library System now offers an Internet-Use Only card. This card will allow you to use our computers, but will not allow you to check out any library materials. In order to check out materials, you will have to show proof of address as listed in the above statement on library card registration. In order to get the Internet-Use Only card, all you need is some form of identification including, but not limited to:
