The staff of the Lumberton Public Library strives at all times to maintain a friendly working relationship with our patrons. Therefore, when changes are going to happen we want to make sure that we take every chance to let the public know.
Lamar County Library System will be starting a new computer check out system called SAM sometime in the next two months. It is required that all residents of Lumberton and the surrounding area must have a library card. You cannot owe a fine over $5.00 and you can't have overdues.
We hope that this new system will prove to be a more efficient and time manageable when using the library. Feel free to share any concerns or praises with us. We have an open door policy when it comes to providing service to the public.
