Vyree Malley Parker Memorial Rose Garden

The Vyree Malley Parker Memorial Rose Garden is now officially dedicated!
We do have some cleaning up to do and there will be normal rose garden maintenance, but we could not be happier with the outcome.
We are very thankful to the Friends of the OGPL, Chris & Phyllis Parker Cook, Lamar County, and to all of those who have made contributions to this project.

Library Amphitheater
Open for business...
The library amphitheater is open for business and we have already had a few programs using this new feature. There are still a few things to do in order to have it 100%, but it is accessible enough to be used now. Please keep an eye out for programs featuring the library's new amphitheater. Pictured is an event featuring local author and bird guru Ronnie Blackwell.
