Interlibrary Loan
Can't find what you are looking for in our catalog? Ask one of our staff members to help you make an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Request. Our library loans to, and can loan from, hundreds of libraries around Mississippi and the United States. If you would like to give it a try yourself, follow these steps:
 
  1. Check the Online Catalog to be sure that we do not own the item.
  2. Click on the link below to access the ILL request form.
  3. Fill in at least the Title and Author fields for the book you want.
  4. Include the ISBN if possible - this will help us make sure we get the exact book you are requesting.
  5. If there are any notes you need to add (ex: large print, particular edition), write them in the available field.
  6. Designate the library from which you would like to pick up the book in the "Pick-up Library" field.
  7. Click send at the bottom of the form.
  8. If your request can be filled, you will be contacted when the book arrives at the pick-up library that you requested.
Note: We are happy to provide ILL services free of charge.  However, if you fail to pick-up a requested ILL, we will charge your account $5.00 to recover the shipping costs.

The wait time for an ILL request is typically two weeks, but can be longer.

DVDs and audiobooks are not available through ILL at this time.
